Yes. Listing your item is completely free and does not commit you to anything.
Yes, of course. On Clicktrans, you can order the transport of a sailing or motor yacht on any route, both domestic and international. Transporting such a large vessel is a complex logistical operation, which is why our platform connects you with carriers who have the appropriate experience and specialized equipment. All you need to do is publish a free listing, and professional companies will present you with their offers.
The cost of transporting a yacht is always calculated individually and depends on many complex factors. The exact dimensions (length, width, height) and weight of the vessel are of key importance. Since yacht transport is almost always oversized transport, the final price is also affected by the need to obtain special permits and organize a pilot car escort. To find out the specific costs, add a free listing with a full description of the yacht and the route.
Preparing a yacht for road transport is a crucial stage. First of all, the mast must be dismantled and secured for transport. All movable elements on the deck, such as antennas, windshields, dinghies, or solar panels, must be removed or securely fastened. The interior of the yacht must also be secured—close all cabinets and hatches, and immobilize any loose items. It is also important to empty the water and fuel tanks and disconnect the batteries.
When choosing a carrier, their documented experience in yacht transport is absolutely crucial. Be sure to check reviews from other boat owners on the company's profile on Clicktrans. Make sure the carrier has a specialized low-bed trailer (tiefbett type) adapted for transporting watercraft. Ask if the company handles all the formalities, such as permits and pilot cars. The most important issue is to verify the carrier's insurance policy—make sure its scope and sum insured fully cover the high value of your yacht.
