Mentioned type can differ in length and in the amount of rooms, but generally it provides pretty satisfying travelling environment. Conventional caravans may have 1 or 2 axles.

2) Tent trailer – this type of caravan is a fine choice in case you might want to lower the costs. Tent trailer may be towed by almost any car and usually contains the most basic equipment, like shower and a fridge. Tent trailer provide you considerable living space however offers much less wind resistance than a conventional caravan.

Pop-out caravans are the most favored by big families.

Sometimes it is impossible to ship a caravan by yourself – such decision hinges on whether you have right amount of time to cover necessary route and whether the caravan itself is capable of travelling such distance.

If you decide to hire a transport provider to ship your caravan, make sure you give them the specific dimensions of the caravan. Moreover make sure that its insurance is up-to-date. In addition, inform the transport provider about state of the caravan – for example whether lights work properly.

When relying on a transport provider to transport your caravan you do not have to think about your driving license or speed limits  - all the procedures concern the transport provider. Moreover, transport providers frequently have product liability insurance, which will ensure you a compensation, if anything happens with the caravan on the road.
