Removals

Removals is usually a complicated and tedious process, but when you prepare it properly, you will undoubtedly do it without hassle.

First, it is important to select the objects that will be transported. If you have not used something for a long time or it was damaged, it is a better idea to donate it to someone who will make use of it, or recycle it .

To pack the remaining stuff, you can use durable cardboard boxes which should be bought in the closest mall.

Do not forget to distribute the objects equally, for instance put the books into multiple cartons to make the removal less complicated. Labelling each box will help you to arrange your new flat. Larger parts of furniture should be disassembled to avoid any damage and to make the transport company's job easier.

If you have protective equipment, like stretch foil or bubble film, you can use them to wrap the more delicate items. You could also use blankets, sheets and ordinary adhesive tape, and wrap tiny items in clothes or towels before placing them in the carton.

If you plan to hire a hauler it’s crucial to provide information about the following aspects: kind of service, if you need an assistance in loading and unloading, the floor a flat is situated on, access to stairs, elevator access, possible issues on the way to the destination location and any special requirements applying various transported objects.

When posting a transport request on Clicktrans you can get  lots of great offers from shipment companies who have their account on Clicktrans.

Many of these companies can organise the transport, so that they can use the full capacity of their trucks. Thanks to that, transport gets cheaper and more environmentally friendly with less and less „empty runs”.
