Removals

Removals is usually a problematic and time-consuming process, but when you plan it before, you will surely make it through without obstacles.

First, it is necessary to classify the objects that are going to be moved. If you have not used a particular item for a long period of time or it was damaged, it is better to hand it over to someone who could use it again, or throw it away.

To pack the rest of the objects, you may use durable cardboard boxes that may be purchased in the nearest store.

Remember to distribute the cargo evenly, for instance split up the books into several boxes to make the transport easier. Describing each box will help you to arrange your new apartment. Larger pieces of furniture should be disassembled to prevent scratches and to make the transport provider's job easier.

If you have securing materials, such as stretch foil or bubble foam, you can use them to wrap the more delicate elements. You can also use blankets, sheets and ordinary adhesive tape, and wrap smaller objects in clothes or towels before placing them in the box.

When hiring a transport provider it is important to provide information about the following things: type of service, if you need an assistance in loading and unloading, the floor a flat is situated on, access to stairs, lift access, possible problems on the way to the destination location and any special requirements that apply to various transported items.

When posting a transport request on Clicktrans you will surely receive  multiple great offers from shipment providers who have their account on Clicktrans.

Many of these companies can organise the transport, so that they can use the full capacity of their trucks. Thanks to that, transport gets cheaper and more eco-friendly with decreasing number of „empty runs”.
