Transporting a caravan

Shipping a caravan is usually correlated with great deal of difficulties, but in fact it is much less difficult than we realize. If you plan on shipping a caravan on your own, remember to check if your driving license allows you to do it.

Kinds of caravans

1) Conventional caravan – as the name suggests, this is the most popular type of caravan. This type has four solid walls and a full height rood. E Camper trailers – they offer less living space than most of the types mentioned before, but because of the most needed elementary equipment (shower, hot water and so on) it is a convenient and budget way of travelling. 

F The fifth-wheeler – this is the biggest type of caravan. It provides with very big amount of living space, which allows whole families to travel pleasantly. Due to its considerable size,  the fifth-wheeler requires a larger vehicle to tow it (for example a pickup truck).

It is not always possible to ship a caravan on your own – it hinges on whether you have right amount of time to cover necessary route and whether the caravan itself is capable of covering the distance.
