Pallets transport

Pallets are utilised to move objects of different sorts – they work as "a cushion" for shipping sets of small packages, items or some bulky house appliances difficult to ship. Pallet shipping is one of the most frequently chosen type of transport for shipping large objects. On pallets you often transport deliveries above 70 kilograms ranging from iron gates, boxes, construction appliance etcetera. To get the best price for transporting pallet from skilled transport providers that specialise in pallets transport list your delivery on Clicktrans. The key aspect in calculating pallets transport is to know the precise number, weight and type of items that will be shipped. Loaded pallets are lifted by forklifts.

Europallets and other kinds of pallets

Europallet, otherwise called EPAL or EURO is the one most frequently used in pallet transport. Its regular dimensions are 800x1200x150 mm. These figures can vary depending on the type and use of a pallet, though europalet size is rather consistent from one manufacturer to another. In the industrial shipping there are also so-called EUR2 pallets. They are 1m wide, 1.2m long and 144mm tall.  The ones 1135 x 1133 mm are used for shipping connex boxes. Frequently, wooden pallets are overtaken by plastic ones due to their longer usability. Plastic pallet can be useful from 10 up to 15 years.
