Quad bikes transportation

Quad bikes, also known as all-terrain vehicles or ATV for short, are four-wheel machines used for transportation, that are usually able to transport 1 or 2 persons at a time. All-terrain vehicles are normally very heavy (average quad bike weights approx.. 300-400 kg) which makes them likely tricky to transport.

Quad bikes are often at disposal of emergency services as well as border guards, especially on mountainous areas and in other places that are unreachable via regular cars.

To ship a quad bike safely, it is best using a trailer designed to transport quad bikes. Such trailer is equipped with hooks which will enable you to secure your quad properly as well as a flat ramp angle, so that you will be able to load and unload your all-terrain vehicle more easily.

You can also transport a quad bike on regular trailer, just make sure you secured the load properly. It shouldn’t move while on the road, as a quad bike may become damaged as well as pose a danger to other road-users.

If there is a reason you cannot ship an ATV on your own, you may consider hiring a hauler to transport the cargo for you. That way you do not have to worry about finding a trailer suited to ship a quad bike as well as securing the vehicle for the transportation. If you plan to ship your ATV to some distant location, it is a smart idea to find a transport provider that has a carrier liability insurance. It will enable you to get a repayment if anything happens to your cargo on the road.
