Group quoting
What is group quoting?
Group quoting allows you to combine your quotes into groups with acceptance limits set by you. Thanks to this, you can place, for example, 20 quotes, even if you are only able to complete 5 of them. When 5 quotes are accepted, the remaining ones are automatically withdrawn. This saves you the stress and paperwork associated with cancelling transport jobs. Once the limit is reached, the group is deactivated.
Example:
A carrier from company X wants to secure a few jobs for pallet transport on the Warsaw-Paris route. Their vehicle can hold 10 pallets at a time. However, they place 30 quotes because they are not sure how many will be accepted. Using the group quoting function, they create a group named “Pallet transport Warsaw-Paris” and add their quotes to it. When 10 quotes are accepted, the remaining 20 will be withdrawn automatically.
Creating a group
You can create and edit quote groups directly from the quote form on any listing page.
- Set the group name.
- Set the limit of accepted quotes.
- You can edit the group by changing the name or the limit of accepted quotes.
- If you decrease the limit while editing, the group might close immediately. You will be notified about this in the panel.

Adding quotes to a group
You can add a quote to a group while placing it. To do this, click more options and select the group to which it should be assigned.

You can also add a quote to a group from the “My Quotes” tab after it has been placed. To do this, select the three-dot menu next to the quote and click “Add quote to group”.

Removing a quote from a group
You can remove a quote from a group in the “My Quotes” tab. Select the quote assigned to a group, open the three-dot menu, and click “Remove from group”.

Closing / deleting a group
The group will close automatically if the number of accepted quotes reaches the limit you assigned (e.g., if the group limit was 5 accepted quotes, after the 5th acceptance, the remaining quotes in the group will be automatically withdrawn and the group will be closed).
You can also delete a group at any time (this is also possible while placing a quote). This will remove the group from all assigned quotes, but the quotes themselves will not be withdrawn.
If the set limit in the group is, for example, 5, but after 4 accepted quotes you decide you don’t need more jobs, go to the group settings and decrease the limit to 4. You will receive a message stating that after saving, the group will be automatically closed and the remaining quotes withdrawn. Confirm your choice.
