Sport equipment transportation

Sport equipment category includes all the equipment normally used while training, e.g. in a gym – e.g. trademills, dumbbells as well as stationary exercise bikes. Such items as surf boards, snowboards, skateboards, climbing equipment may also be considered sport equipment. Under this category also falls everything that may be used as a protective wear while doing sports: like helmets (like bicycle helmet), shin pads etc. as well as suits (e.g. ski suit). Frequentely sport machinery is huge, bulky and really troublesome in shipment as well as almost impossible to move by yourself.

Sport machinery has to be properly secured for the time of transportation, ideally wrapped in bubble wrap. It is safest to ship sport machinery in its original box because it will be best suited to the equipment you want to transport. If you no longer possess the original packaging, try to find a box the best fitted in size as the excess of space between box and the machinery can lead to damaging of the cargo. In case there is some space left, packl it with bubble wrap. In case the sport equipment you plan to move consists of various elements, you should take it apart and secure every part individually – especially if any of the elements are fragile. Sport equipment shouldn’t be able to move inside the cardboard.

When it comes to the cost of the sport equipment transportation, it mostly is connected with the size of the load and its weight, the amount of the equipment you need shipped and also the route length and the dates of the pick-up and unloading.
