Other loads deliveries
The price of load delivery depends on the size of the items that are to be shipped, pickup and delivery dates and route length between the pickup and delivery point.
Types of loads
Load transport is divided into subcategories, like pallet transport, less that truckload, full truck loads, direct truck loads, container and tipper.
Pallets serve as a platform on which one can without harm put smaller objects and packages of items. The most popular type of them are EPALs. What can you transport on pallets? Most commonly furniture, food, glass, parcels, construction materials, windows or chemical materials.
Less than truckload is a kind of transport in which the load is transported by a heavy loaded-truck. However, the load occupies not whole space in a van. In this case you use articulated lorry, semi-trailer truck, cooling van or isothermal vehicle.
Full truckload is a kind of transport in which the load takes the entire space in a car. For this type of transport one can use different types of heavy-loaded trucks.
Shipping particular kinds of objects may require containers – specially when it comes to liquids and loose substances. In containers you can without any problem transport small objects in wooden chests, packages, boxes or bags. It is also possible to ship pallets this way.
Tip truck transport
Dump truck is generally used to transport liquids and loose substances. You can easily recognise that vehicle by the characteristically tipped loading containter.
Loads that do not fall into the categories mentioned before can be labeled as „other loads”. Among them you will find: scaffold shipment, windows shipment or excavator shipping.
