The cost of load transport depends on the size of the items that are to be shipped, pickup and delivery dates and length of the route between the pickup and delivery point.

Categories of loads

Load shipment is divided into subcategories, e.g. pallets shipment, part truck loads, full truck loads, direct truck loads, containers and tipper lorry.

Pallet shipment

Pallets serve as a base where one can without harm place smaller objects and packages of items. The most popular type of them are EPALs. What can you move on them? Especially furniture, food, glass, parcels, construction materials, windows or chemical materials.

Less than truckload

LTL is a type of shipment in which the load is transported by a heavy loaded-truck. However, the load takes not whole space in a truck. In this case you utilise articulated lorry, semi-trailer truck, cooling truck or isothermal truck.

FTL

Full truckload is a kind of transport where the load takes the entire space in a van. For this kind of transport you can use multiple types of heavy-loaded trucks.

Containters

Shipping particular kinds of items may require a container – specifically when shipping liquids and powdery materials. In containers you can simply ship tiny items in wooden chests, packages, cartoon boxes or plastic bags. It is also possible to transport pallets this way.

Dumper truck transport

Dumper truck is mainly used to transport liquids and loose materials. You can easily recognise that vehicle by the characteristically slanted loading containter.

Other loads

Loads that cannot be easily assigned to any of the categories mentioned above can be called „other loads”. Among them you will find: staging transport, windows transport or backhoe shipping.
