The price of cargo transport depends on the dimensions of the objects that need to be shipped, pickup and delivery dates and route length between the pickup and delivery point.

Types of loads

Load transport is divided into subcategories, for example pallet transport, less that  truckload, full truck loads, direct truck loads, container and dumper.

Pallet transport

Pallets serve as a base where you can without harm put smaller elements and sets of items. The most popular type of them are EUR pallets. What can you ship on pallets? Most commonly furniture, food, glass, parcels, construction materials, windows or chemical substances. 

LTL

LTL is a type of shipment in which the cargo needs to be shipped by a heavy loaded-truck. However, the load occupies not entire space in a van. In this case you utilise articulated lorry, semi-truck, cooling van or isothermal vehicle.

FTL

FTL is a type of transport in which the load occupies the entire space in a van. For this type of shipment one could use multiple kinds of heavy-loaded trucks.

Containters

Transporting some kinds of loads may require a container – especially when transporting liquids and loose materials. In containers you can simply transport tiny objects in wooden chests, packages, boxes or bags. It is also possible to transport pallets this way. 

Tipper transport

Dump truck is usually used to transport liquids and loose materials. You can easily notice that vehicle by the typically slanted loading containter.

Other loads

Objects that cannot be easily assigned to any of the categories mentioned above can be labeled as „other loads”. Among them you can find: scaffolding transport, windows shipment or power shovel shipping.
