When moving glassware, the hardest part is packing the cargo beforehand. When transporting fragile goods simple cardboard box will not do. You must pack the space between your load and walls of the package with substances that can block movement of the glass throughout transport. Good way to ensure that is to fill the package with Styrofoam or spongy materials that will prevent potential jolting and therefore save your glassware from fracturing. Furthermore you need to wrap your cargo in bubble wrap, especially all the elements that are fine and prone to damage. Tie the bubble foil with Scotch tape to make certain it will not loosen during shipment. When you finished wrapping, you should fil all of the gaps in the box – with Styrofoam or even newspapers.

If you want to ship large items of glassware (like mirrors or glass shelves) you have to not only secure it from shattering, but also from fracturing. You can wrap the glass in thick layer of bubble wrap, secure it with Scotch tape and put it in a container. Remember to mention on top of the cardboard box that it should be handled with care. You may also use pre-made stickers for glassware loads.

Small glassware (like glasses or bottles} can be wrapped in old newspapers, paper or even clothes. Next step is to deposit them in a container so that they will not touch while transported. The same way you may secure porcelain and crystals. When transporting large glassware elements (like chandeliers) it is best to use an extra layer of soft materials, like sponge or clothes.

Price of glass transport depends on weight and dimensions of the load, route lenght as well as delivery days. Additional price-defining aspect is whether or not you need expert packing materials and assistance securing the load.
