Less than Truckload (LTL) represents a good way of delivery of a smaller cargo which is not in need of a big surface and is usually stored on pallets. Less that Truckload makes use of spare space in the car by merging several separate freightages. This method is affordable as companies have an opportunity to distribute the price of the shipment with other people who also want to take a share of the surface available in the car. LTL cargos mostly have a weight of between 151 and 20,000 lb.

Vehicles which are used in the LTL have a weight of more than 3.5 t and should be congruous with the rules being in force in a given region.
