Fragile goods

Fragile goods are one of the most difficult sections of items to transport. Here you may encounter items created from glass (for example mirrors, glass vessels etc.), cargos from fragile materials as well as formed in uncommon shapes (like furniture with elements that stick out, that take a big part of the impact in case of some collision) and really every product that can easily break while in transportation (like many electronic devices may be thought of as delicate goods). On many occasions we come across the situation where the product itself is not considered to be a delicate load, but it has some delicate parts (such as glass ornaments or plush upholstery) and therefore must be considered a fragile load during transportation.

Fragile items have to be transported with extreme care as they are easily breaking. Generally it is more difficult to find a suitable shipment for breakable cargos and one must be really cautious while reading terms and conditions of your arrangement with the transport provider. Haulers frequentely think of a fragile load as a non-standard load and therefore request an extra charge.

When it comes to transporting delicate goods, it is all about packaging. You need to start with finding a box as close to the size of the cargo as can be (it would be best if it were its default box). All of the space left between the transported product and the cardboard makes the load sensitive to vibrations during transportation, which can lead to fracturing. To fill remaining empty space you may use bits of sponge, packing paper and Styrofoam.
