Pallets are used to transport deliveries of different kinds – they work as a protection for transporting sets of small packages, objects or some heavy machines awkward to move. Pallets transport is one of the most frequently chosen kind of transport for carrying big loads. On pallets you often ship deliveries of weight above 70 kilograms for instance wicket gates, boxes, construction materials and so on. To get the best quotes for shipping pallet from skilled shipping companies that specialise in pallets transport post your listing on Clicktrans. The key thing in quoting pallet transport is to check the precise number, weight and type of objects that will be transported. Loaded pallets are lifted by forklifts.

Europallets and other types of pallets

Europallet, also called EPAL or EURO is the one most frequently used in pallet transport. Its standard size is 800x1200x150 milimeters. These dimensions can vary depending on the type and application of a pallet, though europalet size is rather similar from one producer to another. In the industrial transport there are also so-called EUR2 pallets. They are 1000 mm wide, 1200 mm long and 144mm tall.  The ones 1135 x 1133 milimeters are dedicated for transporting connex boxes. Frequently, wooden pallets are overtaken by plastic ones due to their longer usability. Plastic pallet can be useful from 10 up to 15 years.
